The discussion board asked us which is better for us to use when we are pre-writing, listing or journaling. Personally I dont do either. When I write I use a list within my own head and just flow it onto the paper. That is why I think listing in any form is better. For some people it would be helpful to take everything they know about the subject and put it onto a paper in a list form. Yet for me I must use a different form of listing. I am an Impromptu speaker and that means I have to come up with ideas off the top of my mind. I have an enternal list of anything that I have learned on the subject and it helps me to put it out onto the paper in essay format. The last time I ever used a list on paper was eighth grade english and the writing essay test that they gave. But after that I began to use my own memory to flow easily onto the paper and keep going until I have used every ounce of knowlegde I can on the topic. When it comes to Sylvia Plath and William moons they are both very good writers. Yet it takes abit to get use to them. The beginning of both stories are well written but they eventually move down to being hard to follow if you dont understand how to read what they write.
